hip + retard a person who is mentaly retarded that displays hipness. You might have pity for a retard, but you would party with a hiptard cause they rock.

Keith has Downs Syndrome but really likes to rock out to Motorhead and pound back brew. Don't call him a retard, refer to Keith as a ''hiptard''.

hiatusitis

Similar to withdrawal. Hiatusitis is when something (e.g. a TV show) is on hiatus for a while and fans go crazy. Very common among fans of Lost, who start coming up with off-the-wall theories and spending excessive time on fansites such as the Lostpedia forums.

That crazy theory that the White Shoe=Jacob was a result of severe hiatusitis.
