Gerpin, possibly a derivative of slurpin and gulping, implies one is doing a majestic job of playing the skinflute. This show of talent is often noisy, vigorous and messy. Can be used in a derogatory sense to mean someone is player hating, or generally talking an obsessive amount of shit.
