1. A work of art, poetry, music, or literature which transcends mere whining about trivial problems, but achieves such dark majesty, that all who experience the work are affected by it.

E.g. Catcher In The Rye by J.D Salinger, Interview with a Vampire by Anne Rice, Hawthorne Heights music, etc.

That Emo kid's art project is an Angst-erpiece! It makes me feel all dark inside!

ERPer

ERPers practice ERP, which stands for Erotic Role-playing (meaning role-playing having sex).

In video game jargon, it more commonly refers to a somewhat dangerous community inside massively multiplayer online (MMO) games, where they can track players streaming and ruin their stream by making it unsuitable for under 18 audiences (check stream snipers) or, even worse, talk sex to unadvisedly children/teenagers playing the game.

ERPers send unasked sext in MMO games and should be screencapped, reported and banned.

A very specific form of typo, in which your brain gets ahead of your fingers and you transliterate the letters of a word in a creative or amusing way.

"#!/usr/bin/erpl" was the original erpl. "Urban diciontary" is another example.
