MC (Master of Ceremonies), a lyricist, Rapper. Considered by most to be more than just an ordinary rapper. A step above just a rapper an emcee not only writes great lyrics, but also rocks the stage equally well. one who raps with skill.

Mos Def is a prime example of an emcee.

Emeekerd

An emo geeky nerd hence the word emeekerd. to spell it take the first two letters of emo, the eek from geeky, and lastly the erd from nerd. a more in depth definition would be someone who is emo- in the sense that they are depressed , dress that way, etc. plus this person is extremely smart in many ares not just one, also includes how they dress and act, hence geeky and nerd. I know this isnt that great of a definiton but since I made this word up the definition will stay like this until more people begin to use it

When you walk in front of a labor-to-work place, salvation army, bus station, or any other area where welfare recipients congregate and feel a little bit better about yourself due to the high concentration of scumbags.

I was feeling pretty bad that I lost my job until I walked down self esteem row. Now I feel a little better about myself because those people have PROBLEMS.

Shelf Esteem

When a person fills their book shelf with trendy novels, reference books, and/or classic literature to make themselves feel better about their base level of knowledge. Also refers to someone talking about a book they just read in a way which seems as if they had read it years before to make themselves sound well-read.

"That guy had the complete works of Shakespeare, 10 or 15 New York Times best sellers, and the Encyclopedia Brittanica 2009 Edition on his shelf. That guy has some serious shelf esteem problems."

"I was about to join one of those book of the month clubs you always see on TV, but then I grew some shelf esteem."

You: "Like that scene in the Da Vinci code...."

Someone Else: "Dude, buy yourself a 12th grade education level and get yourself some decent shelf esteem."
