Diversity Drone

Anyone who mindlessly adheres to the diversity creed.

Prone to Drone: Self-identified 'liberals'; moralistic vigilantes; anthropology majors.

Life cycle: Many people assimilate into drone-life after discovering that diversity is the solution to world conflict, becoming so obsessed with this ideal that their personality merges with the Hive-Mind. This causes them to engage in stereotyped and predictable behaviors such as: obtaining student leadership positions, becoming obstinately opposed to stereotypes, and becoming hateful towards the imagined Oppressor. Drones typically die off after obtaining jobs in the outside world.

How to recognize a drone: Drones can often be heard buzzing about "ethnic identity", "tolerance", and "multiculturalism", esp. when pressed about their comprehension of diversity. You won't find a depth of knowledge here, only the clever wielding of words to shame and demonize. Do not threaten further. Drones command the power of a guilty Nation.
"This modern dance performance is really pissing me off, it's ethnocentric and racist! What's with all of them having dark skin? It's not like ALL Ethiopian people have dark skin! I'm going to make a facebook group protesting the unjust portrayal of minority Ethiopian people in modern dance."

worker drone

A "worker drone" is a man who accepts the social role of working full time for an income that he will give away to a woman or to support his family. His intention isn't necessarily altruistic, but in practice his actions become self-denying to the point of nihilism. This social role is strongly distinct from the "alpha male" and largely coincides with the "wage slave" and "beta provider." The term comes from the role of drones in a bee hive.
"Bill used to be a lot of fun until he married Cecelia; how he's just a worker drone."

"Promise you'll shoot me if I ever become a worker drone."

Drone Separation Anxiety

The horrible feeling you get when:
1. You see your drone developing a mind of its own and flying back to mainland China where it was begotten.
2. When you forget your drone(s) at work and to go get them is a hassle.
3. When your partner drags you to the Opera and you'd rather be flying your drones.
4. When you can't sleep thinking you have not properly charged the drone batteries for the next day's flight.
5. When your classes drag on & on and all you're thinking is locking in some GPS and soaring.
I left my micro drones at work and now, I'm having drone separation anxiety!

phone-drone

"I don't know if I should get an iphone 3Gs or an Android, I really like the functionality of my iPhone 3g but it doesn't have the features of a Blackerry that I require. I'm so excited that the new iphone opperating system supports stereo bluetooth sound now that I have my motorokr headphones. Can anyone tell me if you can broadcast bluetooth to more than two speakers for digital surround sound? I want to synch my light garden to Pink Floyd and smoke pot with the lady friend who think's im just a phone-drone with my headset tuned to star trek, but how do I broadcast to two headsets at once? I'm having synching issues.

borg drone

1. A collective proper noun for employees of a suffocating and controlling heinous corporate collective, usually a big insurance company, functioning as drones in a hive mindset. The Borg Drone's ultimate goal is "achieving perfection" on performance evaluations, and is assimilated by violent means of corporate X management control, negative feedback, and the ultimate threat of termination in order to maximize the bottom line for the corporation. This ensures huge bonuses and job security for management.

2. A fictional alien race that appears as recurring antagonists in the Star Trek franchise. Aside from being the main threat in First Contact, the Borg play major roles in The Next Generation and Voyager television series, primarily as an invasion threat to the United Federation of Planets, and serve as the way home to the Alpha Quadrant for isolated Federation starship Voyager.

In either scenarios 1 or 2 above, Resistance is Futile.
I was assimilated as a Borg Drone and functioned in a hive mindset in a heinous corporation for many years.
