Argentinian Slang meaning Dude or Guy. Its origins are obscure, maybe originally it was the vesre version of "boncha", meaning "sloppy guy", "stupid", but since the 80s has this meaning.
Also maybe is a deformation of the mexican word "chavo", meaning "kid".
The female form is "chabona".

My good friend Osama used to have a high-paying job, could bench 300 and would bang 10s every weekend. When I saw the pubes on his face and saw the Karl Marx memes on his computer, that's when I knew he had been chapofied.
