North Central, Charleston

North Central, Charleston is a neighborhood on the Charleston Peninsula of artist, writers, and musicians adjacent to the equally hip sections of Wagener Terrace and Hampton Park. Creatives and trendsetters spill from fashionable sidewalk cafe’s and pubs that surround Upper King, Morrison Drive, and Rutledge Ave, while an eclectic dining scene features dive bars, artisan coffee houses, bbq restaurants and smart gastropubs. Historically settled by French Huguenots, the landscape is now defined by Victorian, early 20th century bungalows and vernacular architecture. call center

A place where companies outsource customer service or technical support, ostensibly because it's cheaper than having in-house support. They are notorious for hiring anyone who can lift a headset and operate a keyboard and firing people for completely lame reasons whenever it is no longer proffitable to keep them or they are elligable for a pay increase. A large portion of the furry community works in call centers.

"I've worked in four or five call centers over the last few years. Maybe some day I'll get a real job," Rob said, then hit his Ready button to take another call.

central coast syndrome

An asocial behaviour, people with the Central Coast Syndrome typically do not want any contact with other people. They go to work/school/university and back again without talking to anyone that they do not already know.

Originated from the Central Coast of Australia, commonly affecting international students coming to study at the University of Newcastle, Ourimbah, Australia.
