Clutch

On manual transmissions, the clutch is a mechanical device--operated by the clutch pedal--that engages and disengages the engine from the transmission so that you can change gears, idle without moving, etc. It generally consists of a clutch disc, a pressure plate, and a flywheel.

Dennis pushed in the clutch pedal as he shifted from third to fourth gear.

Camel Clutch

The pro-wrestling move used by the Iron Sheik in 70s and 80s. The opponent would be laying on their stomach on the ground, and the Iron Sheik would sit on their back, clutch the opponents chin with both hands locked together, and pull back in hopes of submission. The Iron Sheik famously defeated champion Bob Backlund with this move and Hulk Hogan was the first to break the hold and went on to win the title from the Iron Shiek.

"Yo, if you see Hogan break the camel clutch and ram the Sheik against the turnbuckle?"

Clutch God

Commonly referred to as a person whos actions clutches/wins a game for the team without otherwise would have resulted in a loss. Used majorly in videogames like Call of Duty, Halo and League of Legends but is also used in sports. The ultimate compliment to someone who gave 110% for the win.

"I can't believe he just hit that buzzer beater, what a clutch god!"
"Did he just 1 vs 9 that game of SnD?!
Clutch God!"

With a snap of a finger he pulled out a clutch jay out of his friend's pack of cigarettes.

-The international soccer (football) team from The Netherlands. More specifically the 2010 Dutch team that reached the finals and was defeated by Spain.

-Before the 2010 Final, they won 5 out of 6 games by a one goal margin, including wins over Denmark, Japan, Cameroon, Slovakia, Uruguay, and favored Brazil.

-Widely considered to be the best international football squad never to have won a World Cup. They have finished second in the 1974, 1978, and 2010 World Cups.

-They are known for their beautiful play and incredible work ethic.

Talley: "Wow that Netherlands win over Brazil was incredible!"
