Bellarmine

Short way of saying Bellarmine College Preparatory. An extremely upper-class private all-boys high school. They hold "mixers" in which they steal all the girls from my school and invite them to a dance. Many people call Bellarmine "gay", as it is an all-boys school, but what they fail to realize is that the kids from bellarmine will probably be our bosses one day. Whatever, I still hate them.

All the girls are goin' to the Bellarmine mixer tonight...no fun tonight.

billiards

Billiards is a game played on a table with no pockets. In korea, the tables are often 4 feet long and the game is played with 4 balls. Across Europe the standard table is 5x10 and is played with 3 balls. Various games can be played on these tables and all are point games. a point is usually scored by making your cue ball bounce off one ball and then contacting another ball on the table. there may restrictions about which ball needs to be hit, or how many rails must alos be hit, or the oder in which any of these happen. The most common game played today is called 3-Cushion billiards. to score a point in 3 cushion you must make your cue ball contact the other two balls on the table. However, before the cue ball comes in contact with the second of the two balls, it must hit (in any order), the other ball and at *least* three rails. it is a very hard game, as such American's have little patients for it. it is played through out Europe, Scandinavia, and Asia. it should also be noted that "pool" is not "billiards", however people often misuse the term 'billiards" to mean "pool".

I learned to play billiards when I was 10 years old, but still can't make more than 3 points in a row.

Flat Biller

A person who wears a cock-eyed ball cap with a perfectly flat bill perched askew on one's head. Pejorative.

A fad originally started by black "urban youth" which denoted prosperity (because new hats have unformed bills). Leaving the price tags and labels on was common as well, indicating that the wearer could afford a new hat. This falls under the social phenomena of "nigger rich".

Like most "street fashion", this style has largely been appropriated (or stolen) by privileged white hipsters who want to express solidarity with black urban youth, and indicate that they too are "hard" and "from the streets".

"It's so ironic to see so many lily-white flat billers cranking hip-hop in their monster trucks and jeeps."

"Why do Flat billers even bother to wear caps? They fall off their head when they lean over and they definitely don't keep the sun out of their eyes... Maybe it's to keep their ear from getting sunburned when they are driving?"
