I never thought I'd be saying this

A phrase often heard as 2020 nears its end and people are forced to acknowledge some very strange things.
To have the family home for Thanksgiving would be suicidal, and I never thought I'd be saying this.

I never thought I'd be saying this, but we came within an inch of losing our democracy.

You bet not never

A double-negative phrase used to intimidate someone who says something offensive or physically threatens you. talking tough, acting tough, frontin', fronting, bullying, bullied, threaten, intimidate, step correct, hurt, challenge, verbal beatdown
Man, you bet not never try to fight me! I'll throw you a beating you ain't never seen, bro!

I'm Never Having a Daughter

The phrase typically said by boys/men who have deep-rooted fears of never being able to properly parent a child, much less a child of the opposite gender due to insecurities with their upbringing.

These boys/men generally shrivel at the phenomenon of women expressing their level of comfort with their sexuality. They can often be found listening to hard rap and complaining to their squad about their difficulties finding a sexual partner.
Jake: "Bro, you see these hoes? I'm never having a daughter."
Connor: "Oh, so you have mommy issues?"

Someone who's never been punched in the face

A sardonic, informal term used to address an obnoxious person. Especially one who often says things to unfairly upset or demean others. It is based on the premise that because people have always chosen to physically restrain themselves around the person in question, they've never had to stop, reconsider and change their offensive behavior.
God, Moe Lester is always such an insufferable little asshole. He's definitely someone who's never been punched in the face.

You'll never have this

A phrase used similarly to "holy fuck dude, go outside", where it seeks to remind/self-depricate a closeted individual that they'll never have something they want. (ie. Love, Care, Affection)

The phrase has likely been thrown around previously, but it was popularised following a 4chan thread where a bunch of weebs lamented about never being able to have a loving family.
