In the year 1150, Père Fouettard a local innkeeper brutally killed three little boys, However the night being Chrismas eve St. Nicolas in his pass by saw this terrible act. St. Nicolas revived the dead boy and enslaved Père Fouettard to be his evil helper forever. Père Fouettard Now the Father Whipper is the entity that give children coal for Christmas.
