People(in theory) get a say in the goverment, but most people don't know what they are talking about so they're a menace to people who use logic. Most people vote in democracies out of choice but most people don't vote based on thinking. Most studies show that people who vote usually don't know what their candidate wants and is only a redditor who thinks memes are valid opions.
democracy is supposedly great, but what makes countries with democracy work is not that system. It's lack of foreign government interventions.
