Hiring an expensive consultant to perform independent and lengthy research leveraging their specific expertise, only to later find they pulled all their research off of Google in a matter of minutes.

v. (false slang)

What passes as an informal phrase used by Sharmin to describe falsely as performing an Internet search using the Google Search Engine.

Sharmin: "Hey, when was the King Dome imploded?"

Alex: "I think it was in 1996."

Sharmin: "Hmmm, I don't think so. Let's Google it up!"
Alex: "What the hell does 'Google it up' mean?"

Sharmin: "Duhh its a phrase, let me Google it up and show you!"
