Derived directly from a song by the same name performed by the Temptations, and frequently played on oldies radio stations in the United States. Usage is generally considered bad form, as typically it's anything except an emotion that the person is agreeing with.

When I told Clyde that the best thing for the cash was to be placed overnight in the safe, he said "I second that emotion". I promptly beat him over the head with a stack of one dollar bills.

When women use their rollercoaster of feelings to manipulate men.

Jessie starting sobbing when Bobby glanced at another girl. Bobby willing to do anything to get her to stop crying offered to buy her something at the store accross the street. Jessie's emotions were real but rather than mature and stive for mental health, she preferred her weaponized emotional instability to get Bobby to buy her stuff.

Pokemon Evolution

The misconception about the theory of evolution that most creationists and evolution deniers espouse. This misconception comes from false information and ideas about the process of evolution.

Pokemon Evolution entails creatures giving birth to or morphing into entirely new species or iterations of a species over single or very few generations. Anyone who understands and has studied the theory of evolution at a basic level knows, this does not happen as mentioned.

Only certain species are capable of metamorphosis and it is a time and energy consuming process that does not change the original species into a new one. It is simply a maturation of the species (such as a nymph to a full fledged adult insect).

Creationist: I don't see monkeys turning into humans. My grandfather was not a chimp. Evolution is a lie.

Creationist 2: Yea, dogs aren't giving birth to cats and ducks. Checkmate, evolutionists.

Person with common sense: Ahh.. The "Pokemon Evolution" argument. Why don't you two pick up a book about evolution and stop watching cartoons.

A girl who thinks she is dating a man with boyfriend potential only to find out all of her hard work is only prepping him for a another woman, whom he wil actually commit to.

I thought we were going to start dating exclusicely, until he stopped calling and made it official with another woman. I was an emotional fluffer.
