The Boy Scout Complex

The proven theory that many boy scouts that continue to Eagle Scoutdom have nothing better to do with their lives. After they gain the title of "Eagle Scout" they believe they have all power in the world and are the rulers of everyone alive, even though they don't and the title of "Eagle Scout" will earn them nothing. This causes them to seek jobs with power, or their idea of power over others, such as a college dorm Resident Advisor (RA).

Guy1: Man, Paul is the worst RA ever. He just thinks he has power over everyone in the hall simply because he's the RA. He commands people around to clean up and turn their music down. He's trying to steal the college experience away from us.

Guy2: He was telling me he was an Eagle Scout yesterday.

Guy3: That's a for sure case of the Boy Scout Complex. Notice how he thinks he owns everybody under his rule even though he has a stupid petty job as a college dorm RA.

Ugly Woman Complex

Cold, frumpy, un attractive female, usually working in an institutional setting like an all-girls school, or the DMV, who have a tendency to overuse their establishment aided power to who lash out at students,coworkers, and the general public due to their personal inadequacies.

As coined in the blog fallingdownunder.com when speaking of the teachers at an all girls school in Australia "...the teachers have an ugly woman complex..."

Simon Complex

A state of mind,
Somewhat like simon says,
Except everything they say is either nnot nearly as good as your, you've done it better, long, harder etc. or it wasn't even worth doing and you should be ashamed for having done such a thing this person would not do.
Thus, this creates the illusion of over-confidence and an ego much to big for said person.

Napoleon Complex

The measure of psychological driven overcompensation for weakness in key areas, used traditionally as tongue-in-cheek reference to small statue or laughable genital areas as fuel for Napoleon's war lust. Currently applies to overly defensive men who treat women in the workplace in a sexist manner because they fantasize about a non-coed existence telling themselves technology is a male dominated industry thus excusable behavior. Applies to most devops professionals who bring beer instead of talent and usually wear feminist t-shirts for irony and gaslighting while namedropping and mansplaining just about everything.

Is reference to an inferiority complex that manifests as an ego problem.
