Fun With Drugs

A hilarious (and yet oddly disturbing) song by electro-industrial band Velvet Acid Christ, using numerous samples from the film Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas; most of the samples are of Johnny Depp's character, Raoul Duke, narrating the film, such as, "This was not a good town for psychedelic drugs. Extremely menacing vibrations were all around us." It's all-too-appropriate for a band that, according to rumor, got their name from an acid trip experience.

Drugs can range from a wide variety, and "drugs" should be man-made things. Marijuana and shrooms should not be considered drugs. You wouldn't walk up to a friend and say "hey man...wanna use some marijuana?"

Drugs could be considered as something like heroine, crack, coke, pain killers, and powerful halucinogens.

drum major

Person that conducts a Marching Band of sorts. This highly regarded individual is thought of as keeping the band together as they perform for an audience, when in reality, about 95% of the band is listening to the drumline who are in fact the true conductors of a band. If the band and the drumline are not together in the music everything thing will in short, go to hell. Hence, no one is really watching the drum major as they perform because as we all know, they lack the basic music fundamentals of tempo and time once they step up onto their pedestal.

Freshman Band Member: Hey, which Drum Major should I watch as we march?
Veteran Member: Fuck that shit. Just listen back to the drums.
