If you go to the tvtropes.org, a cult classic website, you will get addicted
Telling people tvtropes.org, the both famous and infimous cult classic, is an addictive wiki is trollish and misleading, because it gives the idea of 'for a wiki', and also, that it is far less addictive than it really is; tvtropes.org is one of the most addictive websites, in fact, it is addictive in general, so don't be troll when telling people about tvtropes.org, as friends don't give friends crippling addiction's not to mention anyone who gives a stranger a crippling addiction is just a jerk.

What some people have and some don't
by Sexydimma January 10, 2022

Hey, I haven't taken money from anybody. It's not my fans who should be paying me. It's these corporate benefactors who are reaping the benefits of my vast and incalculable intellect who should be paying me.
Hym "And if people are using this to start cults then your silence regarding their relationship to me is what allows them to do what they are doing. If you know who I am, and you know they're related to me.... The you are complicit in the defrauding of those people. Lives destroyed. People accruing 'unearned status.' All because of YOU. Your fault. You don't have a right to bitch about what they're doing becuase YOU could stop them TODAY. But you won't. Because a guy who said a thing you don't like for people to be allowed to say would gain materially... Oh wait... A guy is already doing that.... You all hate him and people are on video on YouTube calling for him to get raped in prison. We don't even know that he's GUILTY yet. He PROBABLY ISN'T! Ha! You guys are terrible. If I knew that was happening I would say something and put an end to it. All of this just so you all can be a bunch smug, self-righteous hippies."

KNR
KNR is an online Discord group that evolved from a casual gaming community into a notorious extortion cult. Founded by Swat, Kodachi, and Pray, the group underwent significant changes when Swat and Kodachi were removed ("fedded"), leaving Pray to lead. Currently, the group is under the control of Die, who operates as the owner.
Hierarchy and Key Members:
Die: Owner and current leader of KNR.
Gunshot: High-ranking member responsible for enforcement and operations.
OG Siq: Veteran member with extensive experience within the group.
Jester: Trusted member known for strategic thinking.
Cutscene: Member involved in recruitment and outreach.
Threat: Trusted member specializing in intimidation tactics.
Pale: Member with a background in digital operations.
Operations and Methods:
KNR employs a structured approach to recruitment and control. New recruits are often targeted through online platforms, where they are introduced to the group's activities. Once involved, members may be subjected to various forms of manipulation and coercion to ensure compliance and loyalty.
Comparison to Other Groups:
Similar to other online groups, KNR has been associated with controversial activities. While specific actions may vary, the group's methods raise concerns regarding online safety and ethics.

Any group that thinks they are better than others, invites people to join and follow them, likely to have a leader (charasmatic or not), inspires devotion, easy to get enmeshed with others in the group, hard to leave, it becomes more clear that the group has cult like behaviors after you leave.
Soft cults are socially acceptable groups within a culture; families, relegious and spiritual groups, exercise classes...
