When you press random and whatever you get you look it up on images in a search engine.

Steve: I was playing Urban Search with my girlfiend and I got pornstar.
Josh: Then what happened?
Steve: It got really awkward because when I looked it up, pictures of her came out.

Gopher Search

Gopher lets you search for resources using menus. It originated at the University of Minnesota which has (as you guessed it) a gopher for a mascot. Insted of accessing with the adress of the domain, you select any entry in a gopher menu and like the human "gofers' of the world, Gopher goes out for the material you want. Gopher is like a regular library subject catalog and it will search for the holdings of many libraries for your subject.

random searching

Random search (RS) is a family of numerical optimization methods that do not require the gradient of the problem to be optimized and RS can hence be used on functions that are not continuous or differentiable. Such optimization methods are also known as direct-search, derivative-free, or black-box methods.

The name, random search, is attributed to Rastrigin who made an early presentation of RS along with basic mathematical analysis. RS works by iteratively moving to better positions in the search-space which are sampled from a hypersphere surrounding the current position.

I was random searching through Netflix for a movie to watch.

Shady school with kids who bring drugs every two weeks. One teacher brought drugs and got fired the next day. There were a group of kids from 2014 to 2018 called the Jotos. Honestly, no one know what happened to them. In fifth grade, they all got a class together, poor Ms Daniel. A sub molested two girls in 2017 and these two kids lit the dry ass grass on fire with some glasses and blamed it on a kid by putting a lighter in his backpack. Everyone there loses their innocence by third grade.

Reese-search

Phony scientific study/experimentation that merely involves pigging out on peanut butter cups and other bright-orange-wrappered chocolates.

Reese-search can also loosely be used to sarcastically/disgustedly refer to Mickey-Mouse R&D projects that merely involve loafing/goofing off, wasting time, recreating, needlessly/inefficiently consuming costly/scarce resources, etc. Two prime examples would be mattress-testing (i.e., getting paid to merely nap for extended periods), or the Red Green Show's infamous character Bob Stuyvesant's claiming that his impromptu solo golf-games are serious environmental studies.
