what makes a libaru a libaru? a politically left leaning, subaru driving individual, most likely to have a peace sign or obamo '08 bumper sticker on their car; usually a middle-aged woman with salt and pepper hair, a male libaru is usally a very outspoken individual centering most conversations around climate change, some libarus were previously hippies in their younger years; very common in the western massachusets/vermont area but can be found in other concentrated areas across the countries; it is very common for libarus to have NPR set as their #1 radio station; the most common hobby for libarus is birdwatching

also commonly spelled liberu

there was a large flock of libarus at the audobon society.

Short for libertarian communist, an umbrella term for communust ideologies that are libertarian, aka against the state or minarchist. Dislikes the soviet union and their authoritarian system, instead favoring workplace democracy and self management and the establishment of communes rather than a strong, centralized state.
