They have had a bit of a resurgence in the 2020's indie web scene with the creation of board scripts such as POTI-board.
2. An image created in an oekaki board. They are typically low-resolution and have pixelated lines.
3. A drawing that uses pixelated lines, but isn't considered pixel art, as the pixels are not carefully placed. Doesn't necessarily have to be made in an oekaki board. Typically used in a derogatory way against artists.
