Someone who can't make or keep their own friends for very long, and therefore rely on taking friends from the only people they know and making connections with them before taking out the person who introduced them in the first place.

When your cousin/sibling becomes a friend sponge and soaks up your friends like they've known each other for years when you only introduced them at that party last Saturday.
