This is similar to tongue-tied in that one is incapable of moving forward in speaking since they have started to tell a lie that they cannot talk themselves out of. People know they are caught and are tied up in their lie or lies.
As Kingston continued with his excuses to Becca why he was late, the look in her eyes informed him that he was lie-tied. He immediately began to give her all the money in his wallet as a first act of atonement for having another pint with the boys instead of meeting her on time...again!

Basically, all the math experts panic because they don't know what to call Liars. They concern "acting on" stuff that is "smooth" and have "many symmetries". (e.g. a piece of paper is smooth but with few symmetries; a circle is smooth (no sudden jolts) and has infinite symmetries.) technically, manifolds
Disputes regarding Lie groups' classification (techincally finite groups of Lie type iirc) happen due to isomorphisms and very similar properties. Derived from the classification of finite simple groups, Lie groups can exhibit unexpected isomorphisms with other types of groups. So we have no clue how to classify them.
