The term usually refers to the four groups formed from M-Net’s South Korean survival show Produce 101, IOI, Wanna One, Iz*One, and X1. However, can also refer to any other group that shares a similar fate.
Fifth Harmony was formed through The X Factor and eventually disbanded, which could technically put them as a Produce group.
