In the north, we call the beginning of spring and fall shoulder season. Northerners say it's shoulder season because you are changing what you have on your shoulders throughout the day. Example : "it's definitely shoulder season, I wore my winter coat to work this morning and by lunch, I was wearing nothing but me t-shirt. When I go home I'll need my coat again."

A Shoulder thrower is someone who throws people over their shoulder, which is a complete DICK move. A perfect example of this would be the character Singed in the game League of Legends, because he does that shit all the time.
