Well this is easy. It’s about how Chris Cornell wishes all of the worthless people in the 1990s society would be killed off.

He’s basically hoping for a natural disaster to come and wash away all of the dirty wicked and immoral people that now roam the Earth. Typical ironic 1990s song about being disillusioned.

Black Hole Sun is about Misanthropy and wishing everybody would die off and go away forever! There’s like irony and sarcasm oozing out of every line!! That’s like, sooo fucking grunge. 👍
