United States Coast Guard

The United States Coast Guard, a life-saving and law-enforcement service, was established as the Revenue Cutter Service in 1790. Currently, it is a branch of the US military, though it is regulated by the Department of Homeland Security. It is often disparaged as being made up of "Navy rejects," but is a vital part of the security strategy of the United States of America

Leeds United

A club with a wide but close nit & extremely loyal fanbase. After a period of problems in the 80's Leeds had been tagged with a hoolliganistic image which the club has worked hard over the years to shed. Recent events such as the stabbings of two Leeds fans when the club played Galatasary as well as the financial problems have only led to the fanbase becoming closer and stronger.

Misunderstood by many (such as the 'definitions' already posted) LUFC fans are the strongest and most passionate in the world. The very fact that the recent relegation from the Premiership resulted in mass celebration only showed the fans/clubs spirit to survive.

A slang euphemism used in polite 50s and 60s middle and upper class America, subtly referring to “Upper U. S.,” instead of saying the more crude “Up your ass!”

I can recall my mother leveling her coldest icy blue-eyed stare and uttering to someone she had deemed a jerk, “Well, Northern United States, buddy!”
