A shortened version of 'How do you do?' which is again shortened to 'How do?' and then finally to ''Ow do?'

Originally derived from the impression of Mel B on Channel 4's programme Bo Selecta in various sketches, where comedian Avid Merrion dresses up as an exaggerated version

Mel B: "'Ow do? Mel B 'ere. So is Spice Girls getting back together?..Well wouldn't you like to know?...Well so would I! 'Cos no bastards phoned me! So I coont (couldn't) tell ya!"
