The tactic is often to immediately suggest someone else is responsible for said task or has done said deed rather than to change topic completely. This tactic is never successful.

Derpstorm

Based on the word derp, a derpstorm is a gathering of a lot of stupid or ignorant people. Derpstorms are often composed of very opinionated and outspoken people, as such people are prone to say or do stupid things.

Derpstorms can be of any size, but particularly small ones are often referred to as a derpdrizzle. Massive derpstorms can sometimes be referred to as a derpicane.

I had to leave the political rally early because it was a total derpstorm.
