A functional disorder originating from carbon footprint guilt in which feelings of anxiety, obsessional thoughts, compulsive acts, and physical complaints without objective evidence that humans are the root cause of "Global Warming" dominate the personality manifesting through radical and extreme lifestyle changes or indecision and a degree of social or interpersonal maladjustment.

The inconvenient truth that new industrial markets are emerging at an alarming rate designed to exploit carboneurotic people which, ironically enough, is perpetuating the very same problem they are so desperately trying to resolve.

Carbonwashing

Carbonwashing is similar to Greenwashing. Carbonwashing is the practice of virtue signaling by companies or individuals to proclaim that they are purchasing "carbon credits" or similar type carbon producing offsets as a means to polish their corporate image. While, in the background they may or may not be doing this as it is a very shadowy audit process to actually prove that you are indeed having any impact whatsoever further to whatever metrics you are using to illustrate.

I just came from a conference and they were speaking of "carbon offsets" and "carbon capture" credits for their business. I'm not sure that these companies are actually measuring this properly or even partaking in sames. I think many of them are just Carbonwashing us.
