AU Plague

A disease contracted by most freshman within the first few weeks after arrival to American University. Symptoms include uncontrollable cough, stuffy nose, sore throat, and the inability to attend any classes that start before 11:20 AM. Often contracted by sharing beer bong cups and making out with grenades.

Person 1: Yo, did you make it to your college writing class this morning?

Person 2: Hell no I didn't, I have the AU Plague. Plus that shit was at 8:30 so I was like fuck that and slept in til 3.

The bubonic plague is caused by the bacterium Yersinia pestis, transmitted from person to person, a bite of a flea from an infected host, and a bite from an infected rat.It is characterized by chills, fever, vomiting, bloody semen, diarrhea, the formation of buboes, inflamed lymph nodes (around armpits, neck, and groin), pain areas in the abdomen or muscles, coughing blood, the whole body would feel fever, chills, fatigue, or malaise, Gastrointestinal (nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea), and commonly, bleeding, delirium, headache, phlegm, shortness of breath, or swollen and tender lymph node.

Characterized by instant attraction to anyone who looks efficient. If someone meeting that description is not available, one can express Teutonic Plague by half-hearted attempts to learn German, collect Kinder Eggs, or watch long depressing German movies, such as Das Boot.
