Deep learning

Deep learning is an education technique which is becoming increasingly popular in the recent years.

In deep learning, the teacher collects a huge set of quizzes which are then given to the students to solve. The students get through an enourmous number of questions and through the repetitive process, the students learn to solve the quizzes.

One method of deep learning is done with a teacher. The teacher grades each quiz that a student does. The students improve their ability through redoing quizzes they have failed to do well in. This method has seen the most success in classrooms where the quizzes have definite answers such as in biology.

The other type of deep learning is done without a teacher. The teacher doesn’t tell the students what the right answer is, encouraging discussion between the students. This method allows students to learn better in actual exams as they’re more adapted to think and solve unseen quizzes. This is also very cost effective as no teachers are required to be present.

Convolutional deep learning and adversial learning are other common techniques. The convolutional technique convolutes the entire class to join the discussion, allowing rapid learning for difficult quizzes. Adversial learning lets a pair of students compete against each other. Given a set of quizzes, one student attempts to solve the quiz and the other checks the answer. Points are given when they manage to solve a quiz and correct an answer respectively.
I heard that students who were taught in private schools where they employ deep learning, perform up to 50% better in the workforce.

binge learning

A tendency to partake in bouts of knowledge-seeking; An almost obsessive "indulge(nce) (of) an interest"(Eli Dourado, "‘Binge Learning’ is Online Education’s Killer App"). This is often within a field in which one already had a strong interest, but may also include seemingly random facts or topics. Can take the form of watching a collection of videos, tutorials, seminars, listening to podcasts, or just browsing Wikipedia or Google Dictionary (now the 'define' keyword). Has some similarities to binge watching.
"I'm so tired. I was up binge learning until 2."
"Haha nice. Did you finish that project tho?"
"No but I could tell you all about alligator bone structures.."

Learning Richard

An effeminate douche bag whose personality is the most highly effective birth control known to the medical community.

Thinks he's clever, yet has a room-temperature I.Q. on his best days. Likely abused as a child, indicated by his caustic nature and intellectually bankrupt ramblings.

No known cure, but hopes are that future breakthroughs in genetic engineering might lead to treatment less severe than mandatory euthanasia.

learning disability

A learning disability is a neurologically based processing problem, such as a disorder in auditory processing, visual processing, or non-verbal processing. Learning disabilities are diagnosed when there is a gap between potential and actual achievement, and therefor people with learning disabilities have average to above-average intelligence. Learning disabilities are lifelong conditions, but with appropriate specialized education students can achieve at the same level as their same-age peers.
Sally is smart but struggles in school, maybe we should assess for a learning disability?

Learn Rape

forcing knowledge upon someone against their will.
when at a party and someone asks a know-it-all, "what do you do for a living". The know-it-all then proceeds to learn rape this person with information on a topic, such as quantum physics, while using jargon or scientific terminology when they know the other person doesn't want it or like it.

distance learning

(n) staring at a teacher on a computer screen instead of going to in-person school because the schools are closed; getting an education from teachers through Zoom calls; going to Zoom school
Distance learning sucks because everyone is getting headaches from too much screen time and it is difficult to learn from teachers who are teaching from the computer instead of in the classroom. Some kids like distance learning because they can log-on with their cameras turned off and play video games all day instead of doing their school work.
