It's a more adapted and mutated version of fur really, our Ape cousins share this with us and that's where the similarity ends really with other animals. Hair is more rough and not fluffy, Hair grows all over the body but for human it mainly grows on top of the head.

Hair Pouch

A small leather pouch worn on the belt that contains locks of hair cut from desirable females. Usually that the owner stalks. Akin to a medieval coin purse. The pouch can be dedicated to one particular female or many, its the owners discretion.

Someday when she realizes I am her true love I can show her my hair pouch.
