Eat your feelings.

Eating your feelings is eating when you're not hungry. You're feeding your feelings. Because after all, food is a source of comfort. Like, when you're sad you may get an urge to eat ice cream or sweets to comfort yourself.

After comfort eating, it's very common to feel guilty.

Jane: Gosh. I just ate my second bag of chips.
Erin: Are you that hungry?
Jane: No, I'm just feeling down and I craved them.
Erin: You shouldn't eat your feelings.
