fixing to

Generally used only in the state of Texas, 'fixing to' is the equivalent of 'about to' or 'getting ready to'. If used outside of Texas, likely the person using it is from Texas or has spent a great deal of time in Texas. Also, this person will likely be on the receiving end of, "You're... what?"

fake texting. when someone is instant messaging someone and a symbol comes up showing the other person is writing a message, but the user accidentally left a letter in the text box making it look like they are writing something important.

Julia was totally fexing me on AIM. I sat there for five minutes thinking she was writing a story.
