Friend of the Lord

It is a way of passive aggressively, or even jovially saying hello to someone through religion.
Common responses to this can be "i am no friend of the lord". Worry not you can inform them that the lord still loves them.

It has many uses and can be used to reference someone that either you like or dislike.

Huckleberry Friend

Evokes someone with whom one has a carefree, innocent, hopeful, gentle friendship. Bucolic wanderers and dreamy wonderers. Those with which to share a sun-drenched youth.

Last Resort Friend

The friend you call as a last resort when all your other friends are busy. You don't really like this friend and are prone to cancel on them if you get a better offer. You may be this friend to someone else.

Scenario 1
Bob: Hey are you free this weekend?
Friend: Sorry I'm not, got some family function I can't get out of.

Bob: Damn it everyone's busy, Guess I'll have to call my last resort friend.

Scenario 2
Tim: Hi Dan's just cancelled on me. Are you free tomorrow?
LRF: You only ever call me when everyone else is busy, I'm sick of being your last resort friend!

Mom Friend

That one friend in your squad that's super responsible and almost over-protective of them. Usually every friend group has a mom friend, and if you think your squad doesn't have one, then you're probably the Mom Friend!

Megan hasn't been drinking at all tonight since she's our designated driver. She's a total Mom Friend.

friend third wheel

Like third wheeling a couple but so much worse because they're not actually in a relationship. You find yourself drifting apart from your best friend as they get a new bff even though they pretend you are still friends and try to keep up the pretence by inviting you with them sometimes. But even when you are with them you feel like they would be happier without you there. You wish your old bff friend would notice how you feel and you would become as good friends as you were before but inside you know that will never happen.

*you, your old bff friend and their new bff are walking together. There talking about plans for next weekend and what they did last weekend; neither of which you were are invited to* I feel like a friend third wheel right now.
