The act of having an excellent or magnificent beard. Anyone who has a huge unkepmt beard despite what fashion dictates is practicing bearded excellence. This also goes for ungangly mustaches and bushy mutton chop sideburns.

Center of Excellence

When a tech company outsources and offshores expensive jobs to a cheap 2nd or 3rd world labor location, they give that new place a lofty name, as if it's god's gift to their future success, while it generally displaces US or other western (expensive) workers.
They'll trade one a $100k/yr Java coder stateside for a half dozen Sanjeev's in the Center of Excellence in Bangalore.

The Center of Excellence contributes directly to shareholder value, i.e. executive bonuses.

The Center of Excellence is in Bangalore. That makes Austin the Center of Expensive Mediocrity.

excrellent

fantastically shitty. combines excellent and excrement.
like if your boss has a low-end vocabulary and suggests that you work your day off in a way that you know you can't refuse you can give him a big smile and say, "Excrellent! I'll be here Saturday at 7am!" and if he even hears that you aren't saying excellent he will just think it's like all those other words he hears that he doesn't know and he'll infer from your smile and body language that it's something good. but really it isn't. and you keep your job too.

Excellence

A perfect example of newspeak, commonly found in the US federal government and frequently found in the same sentence as 'diversity'. Excellence is an intangible noun derived in recent decades from an adjective meaning anything that is not directly in opposition to a mission statement. Basically it is supposed to mean 'good-ness', but better than good, really good. But without any increase in quality of work to back it up. So it can be anything from poor to mediocre to decent to great to outstanding.

In all concrete reality, excellence means nothing, but you'll see it everywhere to describe everything.
"She has demonstrated outstanding achievement in the field of excellence while serving her country during the difficult circumstances administering corrections at Abu Ghraib prison"

"At the Library of Congress we value diversity and excellence, while fostering a compassionate environment of professionals"

"Leadership excellence"

"An environment of excellence"

"Tools of excellence"
