Derp 

A common slang term, with origins stretching far into the series 'South Park', but with recent utilization in the Internet culture. The term itself can be used in a variety of situations. Often used as a substitute for ones own self in a narrative story or explanation. Also used for a verb, to describe an action.

The Internet users of this term have evolved it to encompass the female gender as well, using Derpina to represent a woman.

Derp (I) was doing the dishes when Derpina (Girlfriend) started nagging me about missing a spot
