The sound is actually made from a female wild boar either accidentally or intentionally sitting on a vertical log or stump. This forces air into the female boar creating a nasty intimidating coughing sound which is what most people would call a “quiff”!

Originally invented by Aaron Cofing when he tried to exhale twice at the same time. Because he didn't want to name it directly after his last name, He decided to add random letters into the mix to make it sound French so that people at his school wouldn't associate it with him at the time. However after 9 years of the fad becoming larger and larger he admitted to being the inventor of Coughing, To which he was laughed out of the room.
