One who's personal, professional, or aesthetic choices are discordant with ones own. The term carries a negative connotation. You don't hate a chunch, but you sure don't want to hang out with one.

In Jazz music, for one player to interrupt the beginning of another players improvised solo by commencing their own improvised solo. variations include the "standing craunch" where in a big band, the saxophone player stands up to take a solo, and is left looking foolish as one of the brass section standing behind him has commenced a solo. also, the "flying craunch" where a solo that has begun tastefully, with only a few sparse notes is interrupted by another play who plays high and/or loud and/or fast.

I got craunched three times tonight, and all of those where by the trumpet player.

chanchero

A D.C metropolitan area term used to describe wetbacks latinos or people (from central or south america) that dress out of fashion, acts really uncivilized with respect to the american customs and traditions. They tend to like ranchera or boleros musics; dress in baggy unbranded clothes (such as paco) or dress as mexican vaqueros; and vulgarly attempt to flirt with a girl. Finally, they tend to be in clustered cities and linger in groups of the same. Also they act "ghetto" in public.


Chancheros tries to act like the americans of the United States youth, even if they are older.

Hey James, look at thoes chancheros running from the INS.

Those chancheros in Langley Park dress so ugly and always play those loud music when they get drunk.
