Bunis

Bunis is the Sinhala word for Bun, usually misspelled as "Banis". Bunis is used to describe many types of pastries in Sri Lanka, one of the most famous Bunis in Sri Lanka is Kimbula Bunis which is an elongated bun with sugar on top.

Hey dude I am hungry, gonna eat a Bunis for breakfast.

Mom - What kind of Bunis do you need Jam or Kimbula?
Me - Kimbula Bunis as always.
