Skatchie

Like Newfies and Brunsies, the people from Saskatchewan are Skatchies.

I'm a Skatchie, not a Saskatchewanian, and I have worked as a tree planter, oil rigger, farmer and a rancher. I wear a bunnyhug, not a hoodie! I drive a skidoo in the winter, and the summer I use many forms of transportation, though mainly a quad or motorcycle. I cheer for the Roughriders, whether they win or loose! I complain in the summer becuase its too hot, and I complain in the winter because its too cold. I complain when theres no rain, and I complain when theres too much. Yes I do know Jimmy and Alice from Moose Jaw, and I happen to be related to someone who has a cousin who is related to them. I wear trucker hats not because of Ashton Kutcher, and I carry a rifle in my pickup not because I plan on knocking off a 7-11, but incase I see a cyote, porcupine, badger... or the occasional gopher. A skater boi is a guy who sais he can skate but can't really at all. OR a guy who dresses in skater fasion and listens to gay-as-ass Avril Lavigne and/or emo/pop-punk also commonly found by Pac Sun at the mall looking at chicks
not to be confused with skaters or skatepunks.

1. a stupid poser who wears super baggy pants, hoodies, and carries his skateboard around school all day and smokes pot all day long. usually cant ride on their board for more than 3.235123 seconds before slipping off. only trick they have heard of is the "kickflip" which they cannot do and dont even try. skate just for the image of being cool and popular.

2. the real definition- someone who loves to skateboard. not to be confused with a sk8er (see the above definition). real skaters are very talented people who do it for the love of it and not the image. if you become good enough, you can get sponsored and eventually turn pro. skating can change your life.
