Dad of the Year

A father who when taking his child to the swimming baths can't help but become overexcited. Such a man usually throws the child (and other children) around the pool, repeatedly splashes everyone and generally acts like an infant in his quest to prove he is the best, most fun father on the planet.

Lifeguard 1 (about to take over supervision of the pool): Anybody playing up?
Lifeguard 2: Nah it's cool man, just watch out for "Dad of the year" over there.

Dad Band

A collection of middle aged to older guys with day jobs, putting on Hawaiian or Flame shirts and playing classic rock at the corner bar on Friday night. Bands that play Dad Rock, usually badly.

Greasy Bob's Bar and Grill features pull tabs, Karaoke on Wednesdays and Thursdays, and Dad Bands on Weekends; one and a half stars.

Father God, we thank you for your grace and your mercy, for allowing us to be together under your covenant and God we thank you for the revelations and for the breakthroughs; for your direction and for your healing. We thank you God for the opportunity to just be a vessel for your kingdom. God we trust you, we love you, we honor you, and all glory is yours. Amen.
