When you do something you know you shouldn't do, "the voice in your head says STOP!"but you do it anyway, then get caught.

Never spit into the wind. It's a windy day and you coughed up something that needs to be out of your body. Take a deep breath and let it fly. It turns back and hits you in the leg or someone else. "Hey I'm so sorry I must have had a stupid attack"

Artificial Stupidity

n. Special circuitry wired into computers and other electronic equipment allowing it to alter it's programming in such a way that simple tasks which were performed flawlessly only moments ago are now beyond functional capability.

My PC no longer wants to recognize my data. I'm doing the same things I've always done, but now I've lost 6 months of work to artificial stupidity.

stupid-busy

Applies particularly to retail work. When the store is so busy that both the customers and the employees seem to lose intelligence aka "get stupider." This makes work that much more difficult and thus seem more busy.

The store got stupid-busy today; nobody had a clue what was happening.
