A humanist manifesto that brings together mathematicians and math educators around the globe to promote the message that math, in particular pi, must be humanized and inclusive rather than indifferent and elitist.
In an age of AI, where machines could spread π misinformation and disinformation, it’s of paramount importance that movements like “Pi Needs You!” reside in the mathematical consciousness of an oft-semi-innumerate lay public.

Get the Pimug. The math constant’s equivalent of writer’s block. When the number π frustratingly finds herself facing a blank page with zero output on her part, often spewing out a string of four-letter words.
Unlike her constant counterparts like e and 𝜙, rain or shine, π doesn’t give the excuse of pi’s block to rationalize why she’s semi-productive or unproductive on certain days.
