Designated as a terrorist group by the US, UK and the EU. Does not care about the Palestinian people or the creation of a Palestinian state.

On 7 October 2023, Hamas invaded Israel and murdered over 1200 people and took approximately 250 people hostage, many of whom were not Jews or Israeli citizens.
