This technique often emerges following a misleading stretch of harmony. It represents the paradoxical pursuit of conflict after periods of calm, embodying a twisted longing for the familiar dissonance of everyday squabbles rather than the alien stillness of harmony.

Was a peaceful Sunday until my partner hit me with a bicker baiting bombshell, asking why I still follow my ex on social media. Went from zero to a hundred real quick over a 'like' from 2017.
