Kaede wasn’t just any ordinary girl. She was an Echo, one of the few individuals capable of hearing the whispers of the Forgotten Realm—a parallel dimension said to hold the secrets of the universe. Before Kaede could respond, the crystal orb pulsed with a blinding light. A rift tore open in the air before them, revealing a swirling vortex of shadows and light. From within the rift, a figure emerged—a cloaked being with eyes like molten gold.
