In British slang, a nail is an inexpensive, slow, undesirable zero status old high mileage car.
This cheap form of disposable motoring might also be called a beater, banger, shed, noddy car, tub, clunker, jalopy, and, depending on origin, yank tank, eurotrash, japcrap.
Not to be confused with a lemon, which is an unroadworthy money pit you just unwisely bought.

Friend: "Mate, where did you get this old nail?"
Me: "Well, I saw it in the post office window for £300"
Friend: "Oh. Does the radio work?"
Me: "No. But I can fit a mattress in the back"

A religion originating from India in which it is believed that the universe including space and time was formed at the beginning of time when there was only a nail and a Parrot until the nail decided to go up the parrots ass causing the parrot to generate the loudest moan in history but it was inaudible due to the lack of air in space. (Also Tan is GAY.)

Youtube got hacked on 26th of December, most of this 'thumb nails' which are little pictures that show a part of the movie got changed in to this person named 'Damo Suzuki'. A hacker changed the thumb nails into his picture. And therefor people are calling Damo Suzuki the '' Thumb nail guy ''
