Red hands

When you have knives held between the index and middle fingers on both hands with the blades held just so the flat part of the hands on the palm lines up with the blades held in between the index and middle fingers and with the blades held flat against the palm and with the point of contact for extrajudicial instrumentation extending up from in-between the two fingers to make almost a fist bump type carry for a duel held combat grip. Don't slip and cut yourself.

Red thumb

The ability to make plants die.

The guy has been growing things since he was a little fucking kid, he doesn't have a red thumb. Not all his plants die, and none die without cause or due to neglect. He takes good enough care of his plants, and though people can at least question his sanity, maturity, and responsibility (unlike some other people), there isn't anything about him that indicates he is an irresponsible person by nature.

These are similar to military jump wings earned to wear on your uniform but anyone can earn them by doing one of or both the following simple acts of bravery
