1. Slang. A person who takes credit for someone else’s hard work while doing the bare minimum, often “riding” the success of others to look good.

2. Someone who nervously micromanages a situation they barely understand, flapping around but letting others do all the actual work.

Example: “That boss is such a chicken jockey—hovering over us while we handle everything.”
